To top it all, the songs are quite simply beautiful. The album was due for release in April 1968 but, like Chris Fralow's Best Of and PP Arnold's The First Lady of Immediate, it became a victim of the label's dire financial situation, and was effectively unreleased-or withdrawn, as a few finished copies did reach the marketplace. It was a masterpiece: Oldham finally achieved his own pocket symphonies, and the star-studded cast included all four Small Faces, John Paul Jones, Nicky Hopkins, Caleb Quaye, Big Jim Sullivan and Immediate artists Jerry Shirley (From Apostolic Invervention & Humble Pie) and Twice As Much.
